About Ometepe College Sponsorship

We believe that education is a universal human right and a pathway out of poverty. One of the opportunities we provide adolescents and young adults on Ometepe Island, Nicaragua is college sponsorship.

A College Sponsorship commitment is $299 initially and $75/month thereafter providing the needed computer, books, transportation, food & materials to stay enrolled in college. Scholars in our program receive mentoring are required to maintain a 3.0 GPA. Students are encouraged to volunteer in their community or church. We also recommend YOU to connect with your Scholar via email or social media, as your relationship could also be a part of their long-term success.
